The United Tote System

United Tote designs, manufactures, and operates pari-mutuel wagering systems for more than 150 racing companies and numerous OTB facilities in North America and around the world.  Each hardware and software component, while a leader in its own right, was developed for deployment as part of a comprehensive wagering system to increase player satisfaction, attract new customers, and decrease the costs of operation.

 The Most Advanced Applications

  • The EnterBet™ Express and Deluxe self-service wagering application makes racing more approachable for novices while providing experienced players with increased information and funtionality.
  • The EnterBet™ Teller application is the first to support 100% touch screen entry of wagers as well as user preferences -- for example allowing tellers to set the screen for left or right hand operation.

 The Most Advanced Hardware

  • The F Series kiosk's compact design and modularity offers operators new levels of feature and function -- in both self-service and staffed modes of operation.
  • The use of commercially available E Series and mobile M Series terminals make wagering more convenient.

 The Most Advanced System

  • The Totalisator Application is flexible enough to host the biggest day in racing, the Kentucky Derby, while supporting numerous distributed OTB networks.
  • The Account Wagering Module leverages the FastBet™ card to take the cash out-- making wagering easier and more fun for players, while lowering costs for track and OTB operators.
  • The Contests Module offers real-time leaderboards with "in-pool" wagering capability.
  • Advanced Reporting supports business intelligence for "slice and dice" access to information.

New Wagering Outlet Opens in Korea - Wednesday, February 27, 2008

United Tote supplied wagering terminals and a tote system for Korea's newest wagering outlet, the Changwon Cycle Racing Corporation's (CCRC) Seomyung OTB which opened on February 27th for the start of the Korean Boat Racing season.

This southern Korean location will offer simulcast wagering for cycle and boat racing from locations in Korea.  United Tote serves two cycle racing velodromes in Korea, one each in Busan and Changwon.  Each facility operates multiple wagering outlets in their respective regions.

CCRC's new Seomyung OTB is located in the heart of the city of Changwon and occupies two levels of a ten story office building in a bustling business district.  The location utilizes thirty (30) United Tote wagering terminals in both self service and teller operated modes.

"United Tote is please to assist CCRC in their expansion.  The Koreans do things with class and elegance and we could all take a lesson in customer service form them.  We are looking forward to a gradual replenishment of new technology terminals in the coming months and to serving the Korean pari-mutuel community with new ideas and technology from the United Tote team", explained Jeff True, UT President.

True attended the opening along with Technical Services Group member Jeff Clark who was an integral part of the installation.  Further developments in Korean racing are being planned currently.
